Description
A big diesel-electric of class 72000 hurries through the snow. These were the most powerful diesel locomotives on the SNCF with a Kw rating of 2250 (for a British comparison, the Deltics were rated at 2460 Kw). They were built by Alsthom and put into service in 1967.
