Description
The port of Dieppe was the arrival and departure point for a generation of travellers who crossed the Channel. There are still cross-Channel ferries, of course, but the “Gare Maritime” outlived its usefulness and was demolished in 1995, a year after rail/ferry services were discontinued. Scenes like this are now history.
